Cycleway 2 runs along Whitechapel Road, Mile End Road and Bow Road between Aldgate and Stratford. Cycleway 3 follows Cable Street through Shadwell, then Narrow Street in Limehouse and Poplar High Street. The Regent's Canal towpath runs beside Mile End Park to Victoria Park, where riding is allowed, and the Limehouse Cut joins it to the Lea. Pedestrians have priority on the towpaths, and towpath grit is a steady source of punctures.
