Terms of Service
Last updated 3 July 2026
These terms apply when you use the Tyred website, create an account, book a service, or take out a subscription. Please read them, and our Privacy Policy, before you use the service.
Who we are
Tyred Ltd (“Tyred”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales that provides mobile bicycle repair and servicing. You can reach us at hello@tyred.io. How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
The service
We arrange for a mechanic to come to an address you give us and carry out bike repairs and servicing. We offer both one-off bookings and subscription plans. Availability and coverage can vary by area and over time, and we may change, add to or withdraw parts of the service.
Your account
To use some features you need an account. You must be at least 18 years old, give accurate information, and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Bookings and one-off services
When you book, you ask us to attend and carry out work. You are responsible for giving us accurate details, for making the bike available, and for providing safe and lawful access to the location. We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. Where a job needs work beyond what was booked, we will discuss it with you before going ahead where we reasonably can.
Subscriptions and payment
Subscription plans are billed monthly through our payment provider and renew automatically until you cancel. The price and what each plan includes are shown when you subscribe. We may change plan prices or contents, and where we do we will give you reasonable notice before the change takes effect. If a payment fails, we may pause or end your cover.
Cancelling and your cooling-off right
You can cancel a subscription at any time, and cancellation stops future renewals. If you are a consumer, you also have a legal right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of taking it out. If you ask us to start providing the service during that period, you may be charged for what has been provided up to the point you cancel. To cancel, use your account or contact us at hello@tyred.io.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Give accurate information about yourself, your location and your bike.
- Use the website and service lawfully and not misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to them.
- Provide safe and reasonable access for the mechanic to carry out the work.
Our responsibility to you
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, as required by law. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or that is not caused by our breach. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law.
Intellectual property
The content, branding and design of our website and service belong to Tyred or our licensors. You may use them only as needed to use the service, and not copy or reuse them otherwise without our permission.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and the version published here is the one that applies. Where changes are significant we will take reasonable steps to let you know. If you continue to use the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
