What is included, and what is charged on top
The price you see when you book is the price you pay. Two things can be added at checkout, and both are shown before you pay: a distance-based call-out fee and an evening fee for late slots.
- Package prices include the work listed for each tier. Premium includes the new tyres and brake pads it fits.
- Individual repairs are priced per job. A puncture service repairs or replaces the tube, and a new tyre is not included.
- A part we do not carry is priced before it is fitted, so you approve the cost first.
- A distance-based call-out fee can apply. It is free under 3 km from your nearest Tyred base and on orders of £150.00 or more, and it is shown before you pay.
- A slot that runs past 6pm carries an evening fee, shown before you pay.
- Two or more bikes at the same address are one visit with one call-out fee.
- You pick standard bike, e-bike or cargo bike when you book, and the price for that type is what you pay. We ask for your bike's details after booking so your mechanic arrives with the right parts.
E-bike pricing, and what changes
E-bikes are heavier, faster and harder on parts, so the same job carries a higher price on an e-bike and higher again on a cargo bike. A Standard service is £49.99 on a standard bike, £64.99 on an e-bike and £84.99 on a cargo bike. A rear puncture is £35.00, £40.00 and £50.00 on the same three bikes.
Gear adjustments, cable replacements, hydraulic bleeds and bottom brackets cost the same on every bike type. Motor, battery and controller faults are diagnosed and referred to an authorised service centre. See e-bike repair and cargo bike repair for the work we do on each.
Why prices vary between providers
Four things move the price of the same job from one provider to the next.
Labour and parts are priced differently
Some providers quote labour only and add parts at the till, others bundle common parts into a package. Our packages include the work listed, and our individual repairs are priced per job as shown at checkout.
The state of the bike
A neglected drivetrain or a seized cable takes longer and may need parts a routine service does not. That is why the exact price for your bike is confirmed before any work starts.
Bike type
E-bikes and cargo bikes weigh more, wear parts faster and take longer to work on, so they carry higher prices for the same job.
Where the work happens
A workshop adds the time and cost of getting the bike there and back. A mobile mechanic builds travel into a call-out fee, which we show before you pay and waive on larger orders.
Mobile mechanic or workshop drop-off
The workshop comes to you, and the bike never leaves your street.
With a workshop you take the bike in, leave it and collect it later. With Tyred the mechanic arrives at your home, office or roadside with tools and parts and works on the bike where it stands.

Same-day repairs, seven days a week
We run seven days a week across all 33 London boroughs. Individual repairs and an Essential service can be booked for the same day, subject to availability. A Standard or Premium service needs 24 hours’ notice. Emergency response is around 30 minutes.
